Ved: Recure Boss Guide
Named fights from the demo plus Rush extras.
SummerClip’s store copy promises 16 powerful bosses across four large stages. The demo lets you fight four of them on the Chapter 1 route and then throw extra bodies into Boss Rush. This page names what Steam screenshots and news posts actually name, and it refuses to invent HP tables for the twelve bosses that are still unlisted.
Read the combat primer first. A boss is just a larger verb test. Empty Defence sockets fail here faster than in trash rooms.
Amplifier
Amplifier is the mecha on the sunny grass field. The nameplate in the upper left is unambiguous. Yellow-and-white armor, oversized arms, a red HP bar with blue pips underneath, Stage 4/8 on the HUD in the shot we have. Chillo stands in front of it at 2000 HP, throwing a wide orange slash.
What that screenshot teaches:
- You are allowed to stand in melee. The game wants clash, not a ten-minute kite.
- The arena is open (trees, distant buildings, flowers). Use the space for dash, then return.
- Blue pips under the bar are a charge or phase telegraph. When they fill, stop greedily spending Combo Finisher and look at the arms.
Build advice that does not invent numbers: bring at least one Defence card and one gap-closer on Dash ATK. Fire martyr cards (Sacrificial Explosion Sequence) want adds or destructible parts; if Amplifier is a single target with no adds, martyr mark is a bonus, not the plan. Frost freeze from Land of Snow is stronger if you can land five basic hits during a recovery window. Lightning Mousetrap is a plant-and-bait tool — drop it where the mecha steps, then dodge through.
If the camera hides the arm, swap to fixed camera. That setting exists because of fights this size. Notes in getting started.
The CD-launcher mecha
A Steam still shows a blue-and-yellow robot with CD magazines for shoulders, a yellow visor, hanging compact discs on chains, and night sky behind it. The news posts do not print this boss’s English name. Do not guess. Call it the CD mecha until SummerClip labels it.
Practical reads:
- Shoulder drums telegraph projectile volleys. Treat hanging CDs as extra hitboxes.
- The pose is a flex. Flexes are usually the safe punish window, not the attack itself.
- Night lighting plus particles will hide telegraphs on a bright monitor. Drop camera shake to 0.
This is a good Hurt-chain candidate: you will get clipped by a disc you did not see. A Hurt socket that spends on taking a hit turns a mistake into damage. That is the opposite of Amplifier, where Defence is the higher priority.
The other two Chapter 1 bosses
The demo promises four story bosses. Two are visually documented above. The other two were not named in the English Steam news we used. You will meet them at the end of remaining 8-room crawls. Use the same rules:
- Enter with Defence filled.
- Spend the first 20 seconds learning one string, not dumping Special ATK.
- If the body is faster than Amplifier, swap in Frost or trap cards so you create stillness.
- If the body is a zoner, Dash ATK becomes the whole kit.
Log what you see and check back here after 21 Sep 2026 when the remaining twelve names are public. The updates hub is the place those names will land.
Boss Rush extras: Rockwheel and Whirlord
The Next Fest notes added two Rush-only names: Rockwheel and Whirlord. They are not described beyond the names. Infer lightly:
- Rockwheel sounds like a rolling or spinning chassis — dodge into a side lane, do not backpedal in a straight line.
- Whirlord sounds like a whirl / lord mix — expect a wide spin. Block or i-frame through, then Combo Finisher.
Those inferences are labels on a map, not frame data. Learn them in Rush with free buff picks. The June patch added Restart to Boss Rush; use it after a failed opener instead of force-closing the client. Leaderboard fetch issues were patched 28 April 2026.
Rush is also where you test greedy chains that Chapter 1’s Refresh economy cannot afford. When a chain beats Whirlord in Rush and dies to Amplifier in story, the problem is draft budget, not the boss. Reconcile that on the build planner.
Sixteen bosses, four stages
The full game’s structure is four themed stages × several bosses each, totaling sixteen. Chapter 1 is one of those stages. Do not expect the desert canyon (Fei’s blue-slash screenshot) and the laundry-yard lot (Chillo’s exploration screenshot) to be the entire campaign. They are biomes inside the Recure collage: leftover city, leftover canyon, leftover night industrial.
When the paid client lists all sixteen, this guide will become a hub with inner links. Until the 21 Sep 2026 launch, the useful skill is not memorizing a fake roster — it is leaving every boss room with notes on which socket saved you. That note belongs in your next Chapter 1 draft, which the demo walkthrough times out for you.
For character matchups, stay honest: Plumy guns Amplifier’s open field well; Chillo already has the trailer screenshot; Fei has the canyon clip. Kiki, Daria, Frostelle, and Zane remain untested here. See the character tier list for how we mark that uncertainty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many bosses are in the Ved: Recure demo?
Four on the Chapter 1 story route, plus Boss Rush extras including Rockwheel and Whirlord. The full game pitches 16.
What is Amplifier's HP?
Not published. Use the nameplate pips as a phase tell instead of hunting a leaked HP number.
Should I fight Boss Rush before finishing Chapter 1?
Rush unlocks with the demo clear / playtest notes. Finish Chapter 1 first so you also unlock Fei.
Will this page name all 16 bosses before launch?
Only when SummerClip names them. We will not invent titles. Follow official links and the updates hub.
