What Ved: Recure actually is

Ved: Recure is a single-player action roguelite from SummerClip. You play an exhausted adult who buys a 1000th Steam game, falls asleep, and wakes inside a Recure facility that must be cleared to return home. Combat mixes block, dodge, and strike with a non-numeric buff-chain builder: nine attribute schools and more than 150 unique buffs. The full roster has seven characters with distinct action modules; the Steam demo covers Chapter 1, three of those fighters, four bosses, and Boss Rush. Read the getting started guide, then jump to the character roster, the buff-chain primer, and the 21 Sep 2026 launch notes.

Quick start

Five practical steps from wishlist to a clean Chapter 1 clear.

  1. 1

Install the demo and learn the camera

Download the Steam demo when it is online, then read the demo walkthrough before you fight. Turn on V-Sync and try fixed camera if the default follow cam feels busy.

  2. 2

Clear the first hour with a starter

Follow the getting started guide and the combat primer. Block, dodge, and strike matter more than raw stats in Ved: Recure.

  3. 3

    Meet the seven-character roster

The full game ships seven distinct fighters. The demo starts you with two and unlocks Fei after a Chapter 1 clear. Browse the character roster next.

  4. 4

Build a buff chain, not a stat stick

Buffs in this game are non-numeric and fire from your actions. Use the buff-chain primer and the build planner so Negate and Hurt links actually trigger.

  5. 5

Prepare bosses and the September launch

Study the boss guide, then check patch notes and the 21 Sep 2026 launch page so your PC is ready.

FAQ

Wiki FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When does Ved: Recure launch on Steam?

The Steam store lists **21 Sep 2026** for Windows PC. SummerClip confirmed a September launch alongside the Japanese voice-cast announcement. Details live on the release date page.

Is Ved: Recure a Roblox game or a gacha?

Neither. It is a **buy-to-play**, single-player Steam action roguelite from the eight-person studio SummerClip. There is no gacha and no Roblox client.

What is in the demo?

About 25% of the full game: Chapter 1, three playable characters (one unlockable), four bosses, 35 buffs, partial equipment and meta progression, plus Boss Rush. See the demo walkthrough.

Chillo, Plumy, Kiki, Daria, Fei, Frostelle, and Zane. Japanese voice credits are listed on the character roster and the voice-cast page.

Nine attribute schools feed 150+ non-numeric buffs that you socket into a chain. Triggers such as Negate and Hurt fire from blocks, hits, and custom inputs. Start with the buff-chain primer.

Does the game have cooperative play?

No. Ved: Recure is **single-player** on Steam, with full controller support, achievements, cloud saves, and leaderboards for Boss Rush.

Which languages does the game support?

Steam lists English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese (full audio), and Traditional Chinese. This wiki is written in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.

What PC specs do I need?

Minimum is Windows 10, Intel i5-class CPU, 4 GB RAM, GTX 1060, DirectX 11, and 12 GB of storage. Recommended is 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1660. Full table on system requirements.
