Ved: Recure Guides Hub
Demo, combat, buff chains, and boss prep in one place.
This hub is the map for every Ved: Recure guide on the wiki. SummerClip’s action roguelite is still heading toward a 21 Sep 2026 Steam launch, so the pages below are written for players who can already sample Chapter 1 in limited demo windows and for players who want a plan before they buy.
Start with the getting started guide if you have not fought Amplifier yet. If the demo client is on your machine, jump to the demo walkthrough. If you already understand movement and just want chains to fire, open the buff-chain primer and the build planner.
What these guides actually cover
Ved: Recure is not a numeric-stat roguelike. You still see Attack, Defense, HP, Critical, Critical Damage, and Buff Damage on the character sheet — Plumy’s base panel in the demo reads Attack 60, Defense 30, HP 1800, Critical 12 percent, Critical Damage 160 percent — but the run is decided by which buffs sit in which action slots. Combo Finisher, Dash ATK, Special ATK, Extra ATK, Defence, and Hurt are the sockets you fill. Guides here teach the sockets, not a fake DPS formula.
Combat is third-person and fast. You block, dodge, dash, and strike while a stage counter (for example 4/8) tracks rooms remaining. Bosses such as Amplifier occupy outdoor arenas; other encounters use desert canyons or night-time industrial lots. Camera complaints were common enough that SummerClip added a fixed camera mode, V-Sync, and a camera-shake slider that can be set to zero.
Recommended reading order
- Getting started — first hour, settings, starter character.
- Combat and controls — block, dodge, dash slots, and why Defence buffs matter.
- Demo walkthrough — Chapter 1, three characters, four bosses, Boss Rush.
- Buff chains — draft UI, Refresh cost, Negate / Hurt triggers.
- Boss guide — Amplifier, the CD-launcher mecha, Rockwheel, Whirlord.
- Equipment — Plumy’s tiles, hidden traits, the 50-piece pitch.
- Story and Chapter 1 — the 1000th game, the facility, the clear flag.
After that, leave the guide tree and visit the character roster so you know why Plumy, Chillo, and Fei show up in the demo list, then skim the character tier list only as an early impression sheet. The 21 Sep 2026 launch page and patch notes keep the calendar honest.
How to use this wiki during a demo window
Demo windows so far have been time-boxed: 25 April–10 May 2026 for the first public demo, then 6 June–10 July 2026 for Steam Next Fest. Save data carried across those clients. When a window is live, play Chapter 1, unlock Fei, and spend Boss Rush attempts on leaderboard practice. When a window is closed, use the system requirements page to prepare hardware and keep an eye on SummerClip’s Steam news.
Do not treat any guide as a substitute for the in-game tutorial. The studio still patches trigger conditions (Negate and Hurt were retuned in the June demo). If a chain suddenly stops firing, re-read the buff-chain primer and check patch notes before you reroll the entire build.
What we will not invent
Seven characters ship in the full game: Chillo, Plumy, Kiki, Daria, Fei, Frostelle, and Zane. Demo screenshots confirm Plumy as a gun fighter, Chillo as a close-range slasher, and Fei as a green-haired melee fighter. We do not invent kits for Kiki, Daria, Frostelle, or Zane. When SummerClip publishes those modules, the character roster will expand. Until then, use official links for announcements.
If you only open one page besides this hub, make it the getting started guide. Everything else is a specialist follow-up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which Ved: Recure guide should I read first?
The getting started guide if you are new, or the demo walkthrough if the client is already installed.
Do these guides assume the full game is out?
No. The Steam store still lists 21 Sep 2026. Guides mix demo-verified facts with full-game promises from SummerClip (seven characters, 150+ buffs, 16 bosses).
Where do buff chain slots get explained?
In the buff-chain primer and the build planner. The sockets are Combo Finisher, Dash ATK, Special ATK, Extra ATK, Defence, and Hurt.
