Patch Notes

SummerClip has been patching Ved: Recure in public demo windows rather than in a live live-service. The notes below are copied from Steam news, then grouped so camera people, audio people, and Boss Rush people can find their line. The full game is still dated 21 Sep 2026; treat these as the starting changelog for that client until a day-one patch replaces them.

If you are installing tonight, also read getting started for the settings these patches invented (V-Sync, fixed camera, shake 0).

28 April 2026 — audio, camera, V-Sync

Posted after the first public demo opened (25 April 2026).

  • Monster spawn and phase-transition sounds now follow audio settings.
  • Boss Rush leaderboard fetch can retry instead of failing silently; interaction improved.
  • Camera near walls improved, with more work promised.
  • V-Sync option added.
  • Controller vibration and camera shake minimums set to 0 (0 disables).

This is the “my cutscene is loud but my SFX are quiet” patch’s sibling — the next one finishes cutscenes. For combat, the important line is shake 0. Large orange Amplifier slashes plus default shake is how people get sick. See combat.

30 April 2026 — cutscenes

  • Cutscene volume now follows audio settings.
  • Progression after unexpected exits during certain cutscenes is fixed.

If your Chapter 1 unlock (Fei / Rush) did not write because you Alt+F4’d a scene, this is why a reclear might now stick. Unlock steps remain on the Fei page.

6 June 2026 — Next Fest addendum (content, not only fixes)

Not tagged as a tiny hotfix. The Next Fest client (6 June – 10 July 2026) added:

  • Two Boss Rush enemies: Rockwheel and Whirlord.
  • Difficulty options.
  • Fixed camera mode and more camera settings.
  • Updated trigger conditions for Negate / Hurt buff chains.
  • Save data carry-over from the April demo.

The Negate / Hurt line is the one that invalidates April chains. If a Hurt soda-can card feels dead, it is probably this retune, not a broken install. Rebuild using the buff-chain primer and the build planner.

Difficulty options are the anti-brick. Chapter 1 is allowed to be easier than the trailer. Use that; it is not a cheat.

8 June 2026 — Rush Restart + camera safeguard

  • Restart option in Boss Rush.
  • Safeguard against camera issues in certain situations.

Restart is the speedrunner line. Combined with the 28 April leaderboard retry, Rush is now a mode you can actually practice. Names and approach notes: boss guide.

What was already in the April demo (not a patch, still a baseline)

  • Chapter 1, three characters (one locked), four bosses, 35 buffs, partial equipment/meta, Boss Rush.
  • ~25 percent of the finished pitch (7 characters, 150+ buffs, 16 bosses, 4 stages, 50+ gear).

Those are content facts, not hotfix lines. They belong in the demo walkthrough but they explain why a “small update” post is allowed to be small: the studio was polishing a slice, not shipping the September campaign early.

2 September 2026 — not a gameplay patch

Japanese VO for all seven characters, September launch confirmation, price forthcoming. Tracked on the voice-cast page and release date. No combat numbers in that post.

How to use this list in a run

  1. Turn on V-Sync if you tear.
  2. Set shake and vibration to 0 if you hate either.
  3. Try fixed camera on Amplifier.
  4. Rebuild Hurt/Negate after June rules.
  5. Use Rush Restart instead of killing the process.
  6. If a cutscene crash ate an unlock, reclear once on a post-30-April client.

We will append a 21 Sep 2026 day-one section when Steam publishes one. Until then, do not copy a random “launch patch 1.0.2” from a content farm. Source of truth: Steam news on app 3255500, linked from official links.
