Official Steam minimum and recommended specs, decoded.

System Requirements

Ved: Recure is a Windows-only Steam build in the store file we pulled. Mac and Linux requirement blocks were empty. If you are trying to play on a Deck, a Mac, or a toaster laptop, read the caveats at the bottom before you wishlist blindly. The full game is dated 21 Sep 2026; these numbers come from the current Steam page and should be rechecked that week.

Pair this page with getting started for in-game settings (V-Sync, camera) that often matter more than a 10 percent GPU upgrade.

Official Steam table

MinimumRecommended
OSWindows 10Windows 10
CPUIntel i5+Intel i5+
RAM4 GB8 GB
GPUNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
APIDirectX 11DirectX 11
Storage12 GB12 GB

Notes the table does not print:

  • “Intel i5+” is a generation-free label. A 4th-gen i5 with a 1060 will not feel like an 11th-gen i5 with a 1060. If your CPU is older than roughly Skylake, treat the minimum as optimistic.
  • RAM 4 GB is the floor for a Unity action game with anime VFX. Close Chrome. The recommended 8 GB is the realistic floor.
  • GPU names are NVIDIA-only. AMD equivalents are roughly a 580/590 class for minimum and a 5600 XT class for recommended, but SummerClip did not print those names, so they are guesses — verify in a demo window rather than trusting a conversion chart.
  • 12 GB disk is small. SSD is not required in the text; an SSD is still the difference between Chapter 1 loading and staring at a black screen.

What the demo already taught about settings

April and June 2026 patches added V-Sync, camera-near-wall fixes, fixed camera, camera shake to 0, and controller vibration to 0. If you meet the GTX 1060 line and the game still feels sickening, that is a settings problem. Turn shake off before you buy a new card.

Cutscene volume and monster spawn sounds were patched to follow the audio slider. A “silent cutscene” on an old demo is not a spec failure.

Controllers, displays, cloud

Steam categories list:

  • Single-player
  • Full controller support (Xbox + DualShock tags)
  • Steam Achievements
  • Steam Cloud
  • Steam Leaderboards (Boss Rush uses this)
  • Family Sharing (the unreleased build was flagged as excluded until launch — typical for coming-soon apps)

A 1080p 60 fps target is the reasonable expectation on a 1660. 4K gameplay videos on YouTube are capture PCs, not the recommended line. If you care about 4K, wait for launch-week benchmarks; do not read WildGamerSK’s 4K upload as a spec sheet.

Steam Deck, Proton, handhelds

The store snapshot listed Deck compatibility as unknown. Unity + DirectX 11 often boots under Proton, but camera lockups were already a Windows bug that needed an 8 June safeguard. On a Deck, start with:

  • 800p, 40–60 fps cap
  • V-Sync on
  • Camera shake 0
  • Fixed camera if the gyro/follow mix is nauseating

Then decide. This wiki will not stamp “Deck Verified” on SummerClip’s behalf.

Mac and Linux: no official requirements. Do not buy hoping for a native port that is not in the store file.

Pre-launch checklist

  1. Confirm 12 GB free on an SSD if you have one.
  2. Update GPU drivers the week of 21 Sep 2026, not six months earlier.
  3. Plug in a controller if that is how you play character action; bind verbs as described in combat.
  4. If you are under the 1060 line, use demo windows as the only honest benchmark.
  5. Read release date so you do not confuse a closed demo with a missing install.

Storage and RAM are the cheap upgrades. CPU and GPU are not. Ved: Recure is a third-person action game with large mechs, particle slashes, and night-time CD projectiles — that is VFX budget, not a visual novel.

When in doubt, install the demo during a window, fight Amplifier once, and look at the frame time. That test is better than this table. The table is the floor SummerClip printed; your eyes are the rest. After you know it boots, spend time on the build planner rather than on hardware forums.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can I run Ved: Recure on 4 GB of RAM?

That is the printed minimum. Close background apps. 8 GB is the realistic line.

Is there a Mac version?

Not in the Steam requirements block. Windows is the supported OS.

Does the game need an internet connection?

Steam install, cloud, and Boss Rush leaderboards need a connection. The campaign is single-player; we do not have an official offline-mode statement.

Will specs rise at launch?

Possible. Recheck this page in the week of 21 Sep 2026 via the updates hub.
